Hearing of Khaleda's graft case deferred again
A Dhaka court on Monday fixed May 23 to record unfinished testimony of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.

"Dhaka senior special judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah passed the order accepting a time plea from the defense," Khaleda's counsel advocate Sanaullah Miah said.

Miah submitted the time plea for the accused, saying, "A plea of the accused has been allowed by the High Court, to change judge of the trial court to hear the case. So this court cannot hold hearing until the disposal of that plea."

Earlier Dhaka 3rd Special Judge Court was hearing the case against the BNP chief. But allowing a plea of her, the High Court on March 8 had given this court the charge to go on with the trial proceedings.

But on April 14, Khaleda expressed no confidence on this court too.
