As part of ongoing dialogues with registered political parties, the Election Commission will hold talks with Jatiya Party on Monday.
A 25-member delegation of the main opposition will join the talks at 11am in the city's Nirbachan Bhaban with Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda in the chair, said Director (PR) of the EC Secretariat SM Asaduzzaman Arzu.
Jatiya Party Chairman and Prime Minister's special envoy HM Ershad will lead the delegation at the meeting, he confirmed.
The EC's talks with BNP on October 15 and that with ruling Awami League on October 18.
The Commission started dialogues with 40 registered political parties on August 24 last to seek their opinions over the EC's preparation for the next general election likely to be held in December 2018.
The EC has so far held dialogues with 25 registered parties.
