Dainik Purbokone editor dies
Dainik Purbokone editor Taslim Uddin Chowdhury has died on Wednesday morning. He was 63.

He breathed his last at a hospital in Dhaka around 6:45 am, said Mohammad Ali, a senor journalist of the daily published from Chittagong.

Family sources said architect Taslim Uddin Chowdhury, hailed from Raozan upazila of the district, had been suffering from incurable diseases for long.

He was survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives.

Chittagong Press Club, Chittagong Journalists Association and Metropolitan Journalists Union leaders expressed their profound shock at the death of Purbokone editor.
