'EC committed to make RCC polls fair at any cost'
Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda on Thursday they are firmly committed to hold the Rangpur City Corporation election in a free and fair manner.

"The election will be made fair at any cost. There'll be four-tier security arrangement for the election," he said, while talking to journalists after a meeting at the divisional commissioner's hall room in Rangpur city.

The CEC said closed circuit cameras will also be installed in some polling stations in the election slated for December 21.

He said the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) may be used at one polling station if the voters want.

Nurul Huda said steps will be taken against the use of black money in the Rangpur city poll.
