A pastry festival was held at Islamic University in Kushtia on Sunday amid festive mood and much enthusiasm.
The students of accounting and information systems department organised the festival in front of the university's central Gymnasium in the morning.
IU vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari was present at the festival as chief guest while its treasurer Professor M Selim Toha, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif and proctor Professor M Mahbubar Rahman attended as special guests with the departmental chairman, Professor Selina Nasrin in the chair.
More than 20 items of pastries were offered at the festival.
