Bangladesh earns US$81.03 m from vegetable export
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said Bangladesh has earned US $ 81.03 million foreign currency from vegetable export in fiscal 2016-17.

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed today said this while responding to a query placed by treasury bench member Morshed Alam of Noakhali-2 in the house.

As per the statistics of 2016-17, Bangladesh had exported different kinds of vegetables including potato, aubergine, bean, yard long bean, ladies finger, tomato, carrot and Mushroom to Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom, Qatar, Kuwait, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Italy, Bahrain, Nepal, Oman, Canada, France, Japan, USA, Germany, Brunei, Greece, Kiribati, Australia, Finland, Lebanon, Maldives, Ireland, Sweden, Indonesia, China, Myanmar, Portugal, Taiwan, Russian Federation, Vietnam, Belgium, Jordan, Switzerland, India, Solomon Island, New Zealand, Pakistan and Hong Kong.
