Siddikur Rahman failed to cut in the $3 million Maybank Championship placing joint 139th in the 2nd round at Saujana Golf and Country Club, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on Friday.
The 33-year-old Bangladesh's celebrity golfer Siddikur aggregated three-over-par 147 to finish 14 shots back of the joint leaders Phachara Khongwatmai (Thailand) and Nino Bertasio (Italy).
In the 2nd round, Siddikur birdied two against six dismal bogies for four-over-par 76 and shared the 139th place with five other golfers.
On Thursday, Siddikur birdied five against two bogies and one double bogey for a one-under-par 71 to share the 72nd spot after the 1st round.
However, in the previous edition of this event at the same venue, Siddikur finished joint 41st, aggregating four-under-par 284, stayed 15 shots behind the champion Fabrizio Zanotti (Paraguay).
